Bookbinding Program

In this two-day workshop, participants will print a cover for a book on the first day and then bind the cover to interior pages on the second day using the elemental basics of bookbinding. Participants should arrive on the first day with a text of not more than 100 characters, including spaces, to print on the front of the cover, and an idea for an optional design on the back of the cover that may include a text of not more than 50 characters, including spaces. On the second day of the workshop, participants will assemble and create small hardbound books, using their printed text and designs from the previous day. Participants must attend both workshop sessions for the full four-hour period each day. All materials will be provided. Registration is limited to 4 adults.
