Relief Printmaking Intensive at Alamosa Library

Relief with Photopolymer, Lynn Grimes, Dog, Ginger Paleter, Mountains, Brewster Fitz. Relief printmaking is a printmaking process for beginners and experienced artists alike. In relief, a surface is drawn on and carved out using carving gouges/tools. The surface is then inked up using a brayer and then printed by hand, or with a press. It is accessible in the home without a press and can be used in a variety of ways on paper or fabric. This workshop will help you develop the techniques needed to print in your home studio, with or without a press.
