Stuffie drop-off day: White Rock Branch Library

Today's the day to bring a stuffie to the branch library for an overnight stay FOR STUFFIES ONLY. Stuffie parents may bring one stuffed friend to the White Rock Branch Library on Tuesday, July 14. Each stuffie will be checked in and turned over to the loving care of library staff. When the library closes, the staff will read the stuffed animals a story, tuck them in for the night, and then close the library. What happens after that? We won't know until we open the library Wednesday morning. Stuffie parents are invited to come at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday for a special Music and Movement session followed by Storytime, during which everyone can learn What Happens Overnight in the Library. After Storytime, everyone is invited to stay for juice and snacks. If you are a stuffie parent who struggles to let your stuffies stay out overnight, you may adopt one of our library stuffies. You'll give your adopted stuffie a name and answer some simple questions about it. That adopted stuffie will be your stuffie for the sleepover, through juice and snack time the following day. Then that stuffie will go back to its usual job opening returned books checking for lost bookmarks until called upon to be adopted another day.
