The Architecture of Beauty

“The Architecture of Beauty: Works by Prominent NM Artists” on exhibit during Albuquerque’s First Friday Artscrawl and by appointment. This fundraiser benefits the NM Cancer Center Foundation and cancer patients in need. Reception with a food truck, door prizes, snacks and live music in collaboration with the ABQ Folk Festival will be on site during the public reception on September 4, from 6 – 8:00 PM. The artwork featured in this post are part of a series called “A Cup of Tea,” created specifically for the Gallery with a Cause at the NM Cancer Center. The artist, Harriette Tsosie. wanted to make works depicting a ritual that is calming and gives hope to the people undergoing cancer treatments at the Center.
